A 30-year-old woman, Janaki Prajapati, resident of Gadarwara town gave birth to quadruplets on Thursday night at Sultania Hospital. Out of the four infants, two are girls. However, the condition of two of the newborns is stated to be critical. As the delivery was premature, all the infants are under-weight. The infants have been shifted to the paediatrics department of Hamidia Hospital.

Bhopal: St. Joseph’s organises fancy dress competition

A fancy dress competition for students of class 1 and 2 was held at St. Joseph’s Convent, Idgah Hills, to mark the beginning of Independence Week celebrations at the school. The topics of the competition were nature, five elements and digital world. The prizes for the event will be given away on August 15 after the flag hoisting ceremony.

Bhind: Couple blames hospital for death of newborn

A new born baby died due to alleged negligence of an auxiliary nurse midwife (ANM) at community health centre, Amayan on Thursday. According to CMHO, wife of Neeraj Singh was admitted to the hospital on August 7. The ANM had not called for the doctor even when the expectant mother was facing difficulty inn bearing the baby. Consequently the baby died. The matter is under investigation.

Indore: Millennium School celebrates eid

Students of Millennium School participated in a special prayer and recited poems during a “Kavi Sammelan” organised to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday.
