Pakistan violates ceasefire in RS Pura sector, India retaliates

Following the unprovoked firing from across the border, the Indian troops retaliated. However, there were no reports of any casualty.

Pakistan on Friday continued to violate cease in the RS Pura sector on Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian positions at around 2 am on Friday.

There have been repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan over the past three days.

Repeated violation of ceasefire and frequent infiltration attempts by terrorists are set to be top on agenda of a meeting between heads of border guards of India and Pakistan to be held next week.

The meeting between chiefs of Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers will be held from September 9 to 13, a fortnight after the cancellation of NSA talks between India and Pakistan.
