Mumbai: Rohit Dhawan's big fat wedding celebrations have begun. The Desi Boyz director weds his long-time girlfriend Jaanvi Desai. David Dhawan's son is getting married in Goa. Several Bollywood folk have already flown into the land of feni and fun for the wedding.

Big B to undergo surgery
Amitabh Bachchan is likely to undergo a surgery on February 11 due to acute pain in the stomach. Big B states on his blog, "I do not wish to talk much on my medical condition... the surgery they say is not too complicated, but then all doctors say the same as you end up on the operating table and before long the details and the subsequent anxieties begin to rise."

He adds, "My stomach which has already been the bed of many complicated battles in the past, shall have to entertain this as well."

Amu director Shonali Bose has bagged the prestigious global filmmaking award backed by Hollywood legend Robert Redford's Sundance Institute. Each year, the awards support emerging independent filmmakers -- one each from four different regions of the world. The award was presented in Utah, USA, by Anand Mahindra whose company also endeavours to support Sundance in recognising independent fimmakers from all over the world.
