Former media tycoon Peter Mukherjea's CBI custody has been extended till Tuesday in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case. CBI had however sought four more days custody of Peter Mukerjea.
Peter was heard telling a CBI officer in court that he is innocent, but the agency could hold him as long as they wished. "Hold me as long you want", Peter told the court, according to sources. CBI told the court that Peter's custody is required if the agency find out that he was deceptive during the polygraph test.
CBI also said that they have initiated contact with Interpol for help. Meanwhile, Peter's lawyer argued that the CBI remand application has no mention of Peter's involvement. He has also said that Peter agreed to undergo the polygraph test as he had nothing to hide.
Earlier on Saturday, the former media tycoon Peter Mukherjea’s was asked more than 50 questions based on two sets of questionnaires on Sheena Bora murder case and his financial transactions during his polygraph test.
