Faux Pas: Question on Tigers, Answer on Fake Drugs

The question pertained to the population of tigers in the country and attempts for their conservation, but in his response minister Hansraj Gangaram Ahir referred to the action taken against offenders selling spurious drugs.

New Delhi: What is common between Tiger population and spurious drugs in the country? Perhaps nothing. But hard copy of a Lok Sabha question and its response by the minister of state for home affairs left journalists puzzled.

The question pertained to the population of tigers in the country and attempts for their conservation, but in his response minister Hansraj Gangaram Ahir referred to the action taken against offenders selling spurious drugs.

Referring to Lok Sabha website, it became clear that it was a printing error as the portal had the correct question.
