Mumbai: Adult film star Sunny Leone, who is playing the female lead in Mahesh Bhatt's 'Jism 2', has bagged another big Bollywood project. Sunny, who shot to limelight after being one of the contestants on TV reality show Bigg Boss, will be starring in the sequel to Ekta Kapoor's 'Ragini MMS'.

"We have signed Sunny Leone for 'Ragini MMS 2'. She fits the bill with her sensuality. We always had the sequel on mind. We were waiting for the box office results and how the film would be accepted," Tanug Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures, told PTI.

'Ragini MMS', a horror-thriller film with elements of sensuality, released last year with newbies Rajkumar Yadav and Kainaz Motivala playing the leads. The film was based on a real life story.

"The second part is going to be much bigger. The male lead would be as exciting as the female one," Garg said.

"We are still at scripting stage... We are yet to concretise things. The film would go on floors by year-end and release next year," he said.

'Ragini MMS' was reportedly made with a budget of Rs 1.30 crore and it earned Rs 12-13 crore at the box office. "The budget for the second instalment of 'Ragini MMS' would be higher but viable," he said.
