New Delhi: SS Rajamouli, director of the blockbuster film Baahubali - The Beginning was adjudged the Indian of the Year 2015 in the Entertainment category.
Baahubali - The beginning which is the 1st installment of the two part film is India's Biggest Motion Picture that earned more than 500 crores at the box office and was considered a pan India hit in spite of being a Telugu film.
Receiving the award from Finance Minister Arun Jaitely, SS Rajamouli thanked the entire team for the success of the film.
"The film is releasing in China this month and with it the film will get the biggest international crossover hit", Rajamouli added.
On being asked as to why the lead character in the film Baahubali gets killed by Kattappa in part 1, Rajamouli said it would be nice to wait for the sequel to know the entire story that will be releasing in April 2017.
