Household chores are important and indispensable; however, the reality is nobody enjoys doing them. Here’s a list of 5 time saving tips you must try to ease your everyday load. Also, try doing them with your spouse, roommate or children to take boredom out of the room and if you are doing these chores solo then do not forget to turn on your favorite song.

1. Create a Meal Plan

Create a Weekly Meal Plan and stick it on your Refrigerator to save time at least 3 times a day – what to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will not only save you time but also help you stick to healthy eating habits.

2. Laundry

Piled up laundry whether for washing or folding creates stress. Make it a habit to wash your laundry every morning and fold the same day in the evening. Also, assign separate shelves for clothes for each family member. Ask your children to chip in for folding the clothes or hand over their small clothes so they can place them on their respective shelves.

3. Order Grocery Online

Order groceries and food online rather than driving in the scorching sun, and wasting your time as well as fuel. Make a list of things you wish to buy and then order in one-go without having to surf all sections unnecessarily. Also, if you have to shop from the grocery store, choose non-office hours to avoid long queues inside the store and outside on the road.

4. A Quick Clean

Go for a quick clean every day in the washroom to avoid spending hours during the weekend. Same goes for kitchen tops, make it a habit to wipe clean any spillovers or flour dust on the kitchen shelf and cooking top to stop them from getting burnt and fixated.

5. Do Not Procrastinate

Lastly, do not procrastinate doing the daily chores. Rather, eat well at regular intervals to stay energetic and finish household work quickly to find time to relax and enjoy with your family.
