Actress Disha Patani looked stunning in a black trousseau as the MS Dhoni star turned showstopper for couturier Manav Gangwani on Day 2 of India Couture Week 2017. The event was held at The Lodhi in capital New Delhi.

The young and vivacious star who opted for minimal makeup and no accessories except for a huge maangtika, upped the glamour quotient as she walked the ramp with confidence.

Gangwani, who has worked with several celebrities including Kangana Ranaut and others is often referred to as the Bollywood style mafia. The designer celebrated India with his collection titled "India @ 70", which was an amalgamation of the rich heritage of India along with modern edgy elements incorporated in each garment.

"The inspiration for this collection from the atelier of Manav Gangwani (the brand) has been taken from various regions in India. I have incorporated elements of design from different regions like Kashmir reflecting jamwars, bandhanis of Rajasthan and brocades of Varanasi," the designer told News18.com in a pre-event interaction.

The collection which featured a range of colours from white, ivory, pinks, orange, reds, purple, emerald, midnight blue to black, was unique as it incorporated traditional elements with western concepts.

FDCI India Couture Week 2017 will be held from 24-30th July in the capital.
