Celebrated fashion designer Reynu Taandon showcased her collection 'Cyan' at the India Couture Week 2017 in New Delhi. Her collection showcased bold undertones of Indian monsoon, intricate detailing and beautiful thread work all in peacock blue hues. Artistic patterns of stripe, use of bold whites, glittering gold gave a break to the monotony.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar turned the stunning showstopper for Reynu Taandon. Bhumi wore a front slit deep neck jacket in blue with contrasting gold zari work making her look like a modern Indian bride. She looked every bit like a royal bride in the attire.
Designer duo, Shyamal and Bhumika made their debut at the FDCI's day 3 of India Couture Week with their new collection titled 'The Princess Soiree' on the esteemed platform. The designed were inspired from the Victorian style amalgamated in Indian contemporary bridal wear.
Actress Athiya Shetty graced the ramp for the designer duo. Athiya sported a shimmery dripping gold embroidery jacket paired with a black floral embroidered lehenga. She looked every bit beautiful as an interpretation of the young modern bride.
In the second half of the event on day 3, ace fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani presented his Bridal Couture and Occasion Wear collection titled 'Tarakanna'. Inspired by the night sky, the garments exuded glamour and sensuality. The line was a treat for the sore eyes.
The designer showcased 85 outfits on the runway with each model sashaying down the runway donning Tarun's stunning garments, walking with grace and elegance. The ensembles were kept light and were weightlessly constructed to fit the wearer like a glove. The ensembles were intentionally kept light-weighted so that the bride and guests could enjoy the wedding and even dance in their clothes.
