Life on Mars : Tests on Methane Gas to Decide if Barren Planet Can Support Life

The European Space Missions scientists are set to look at signs of Life on Mars.The Trace gas orbitor (TGO) spacecraft has now descended to an altitude of about 400 kilometres and is ready to begin its study of Mars. In 2014, NASA's had detected spikes of methane in the planet's atmosphere. Methane can be a sign of either biological and geological activity.
