Over the last week protests have erupted across Pakistan after Asiya Bibi, a christian woman, was acquitted. After spending eight years in jail her conviction was overturned on Wednesday by Pakistan's highest court. She was convicted in 2010 under the divisive blasphemy law after being accused of insulting the prophet.
