There are still a few weeks to go before the release of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," but fans of the franchise can get their sci-fi fix in the meantime thanks to a new beauty collection from Cargo Cosmetics.
After months of teasing, the makeup brand has finally unveiled its limited-edition ‘CargoXStarWars' collection, an eight-piece line of beauty products and tools inspired by the film series. It consists of two eyeshadow palettes designed to showcase ‘The Light Side' and ‘The Dark Side', a ‘Resistance Mascara' to lengthen lashes, and a ‘First Order Mascara' to volumize lashes. Four collectible compact mirrors, featuring the faces of the characters Rey, Leia Organa, BB and Captain Phasma, complete the collection.
The special edition products are available online at cargocosmetics.com and at Kohl's, priced from $20 to $28. Cargo Cosmetics has confirmed that it will not be restocked once sold out.
Cargo isn't the first cosmetics brand to have drawn inspiration from Star Wars -- back in 2015, CoverGirl also released a collection of intergalactic-themed lipsticks, nail polishes and mascaras. And it isn't just Star Wars getting a beauty makeover -- other movie and makeup collaborations to have launched this year include Besame Cosmetics' ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' collection, and a Red Carpet Manicure nail polish collection dedicated to ‘Beauty and the Beast.'Also Watch
