Celebrated fashion designer Reynu Taandon showcased her collection 'Cyan' at the India Couture Week 2017 in New Delhi.

Reynu, in her new collection, showcased bold undertones of Indian monsoon, intricate detailing and beautiful thread work, all in peacock blue hues. Artistic patterns of stripe, use of bold whites, glittering gold gave a break to the monotony.

Bollywood diva Bhumi Pednekar graced the ramp as a showstopper for Reynu Taandon. Bhumi sported a front slit deep neck jacket in blue and gold zari work giving her a more Indian contemporary look resembling a modern Indian bride. She looked every bit like a royal bride in the attire.

On being asked about her idea of a modern bride, she said, "A modern Indian bride likes comfortable silhouettes in which they can dance around and party all night. This outfit is absolutely beautiful. I feel like a princess, a princess that can run around and dance around in heels".

Heavily embroidered silhouettes of aqua blue and green orchestrate a melodic symphony in the entire collection that was too hard to miss.

The show kicked-off with sufi-notes of 'Ali Ali Dum Ali' being performed live by an artist with models walking down the ramp with grace and elegance. The collection focused on traditional handwork with captivating mirror work embellishments on the screen print. Each of the outfit was masterfully accessorised with traditional jewellery bringing out the ethereal tones.

Using handloom and millloom chanderi fabrics with the beautifully printed colour palettes made it look vibrant through every silhouette.

Reynu's entire collection was artfully choreographed, styled and curated to celebrate the ever evolving fashion trends and designs.

Organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the event will showcase work of 14 couturiers for the 10th anniversary of the couture week.
