Plums–the red and fleshy kind– are a powerhouse of antioxidants and several other benefits. - Effective on acne – According to the expert, plums contain “antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties” and are thus very helpful in “fighting off acne.” The fruit also helps to “decrease excess oil from your skin.”
2. Anti-aging properties - Collagen is the definitive factor through which skin looks either young or old and dull. The expert agreed and said,” Collagen deficiency often makes the skin dull and lifeless”. She further explained that the “fruit contains a high amount of vitamin C” that is required for the “production of collagen.”

3. Helpful against sun damage - The UV rays of the sun can cause “damage to your skin when you are exposed to the sun’s rays for a prolonged duration", said the expert. Lovneet also mentioned that plums “contain high amounts of antioxidants, vitamin C, and E.”
