Ajay Devgn has played an on screen villain in some hit films like Khakhee, Kaal, Company among others and has impressed watchers by embracing his evil side for a character. Now, we hear that Ajay is all set to play an antagonist again in one of his upcoming film with a big production house.
As per a report, Ajay will be playing a supervillain in a superhero movie that will be releasing in cinemas. If in fact this project materialises, it will be interesting to see who will come on board as a hero opposite Ajay. Additionally, it is said that Ajay's role in the film will be more central than the hero's and that is the reason why Ajay said yes to the project.
Meanwhile, Ajay's last theatrical release was Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. His another film this year, Bhuj: The Pride of India, will be premiering on OTT in the coming months.
Apart from this, Ajay is also featuring as lead hero in Maidaan, a sports biopic and Kaithi remake, which is a thriller. Ajay is also signed on to play a role in SS Rajamouli's RRR.
As for Ajay's next release Bhuj: The Pride of India, it is set during the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and narrates the story of Indian Air Force pilot Vijay Karnik and 300 women of Madhapar village in Gujarat's Kutch district, who played a crucial role in helping India win the war. Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi and Sharad Kelkar.
