Anushka Sharma: Virat and I Are a Good Example of How to Balance Work and Personal Life
Anushka Sharma says much like any new-age young couple, she and Virat also have to try hard to maintain their work-life balance.

The first year after Anushka Sharma’s marriage with Virat Kohli has turned out to be her career’s busiest so far. She will have four releases by the end of 2018—Pari, Sanju, Sui Dhaaga and Zero—but despite their hectic schedules, she says she and Virat manage to take out time for each other.
“Work takes up majority of my time. I was working literally two days before I got married. Got married and then was away for a week with Virat and again came back and started shooting for Sui Dhaaga. So I have always been working round the clock and back to back, so much so, that this year we have four releases,” she told Quint in a recent interview.
Talking about the importance of maintaining work-life balance, she said, “I feel mentally good when I am working. At the same time, you have to create work-life balance, which I think I did even before I got married. Like I was always somebody who understood that categorising is important. That this is my work and this is my personal life, is very important and I think both of us have managed to do that really well.”
“Given that we (Virat and Anushka) have two lives which are so busy equally. Always traveling so much, all around the world. Sometimes only one person stays in the house at one given time. This is what any new age young couple goes through so we are just a good example for that,” she added.
Anushka’s upcoming film Zero, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, is slated for a December 21 release.
