After releasing the trailer of Half Girlfriend, the makers has now released the film’s first song, which is earlier than it was scheduled. The decision was an outcome of the response the film has been receiving. The song Baarish has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi and crooned by Ash King and Shashaa Tirupati.

So if you have a penchant for rains, and most importantly songs that are shot while it is raining, Baarish will not only make you miss the monsoon, but also make you recall college romance.

The song features Shraddha Kapoor romancing the rains while Arjun finding it difficult to keep his eyes off her. Shot in St Stephens College, the song gives us a sneak peek into the worlds of Riya and Madhav and their interest in the basketball game.

The trailer of the film which was released on Monday, has got a huge response with amassing over 13 million views on Youtube.

The film is a cinematic adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel of the same title.

Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat, the film has been directed by Mohit Suri and will be released on May 19.
