At the end of Infinity War when Thanos wiped half of the universe with a snap of his fingers, Doctor Strange dives into 14 million potential scenarios and comes with only one possible future where Earth's mightiest heroes Avengers can defeat the mad Titan.
Following the climax, fans have been jolting hard to decode that one possible future, while a number of fan theories have already surfaced, a Reddit user took Easter eggs from the recently released Avengers: endgame trailer and tried to decode the scenario.
He used the hint of Scott Lang appearing at the gates of Avengers Mission from the trailer and the time when Doctor Strange gives away the Time stone to Thanos. He wrote, "this chance all comes down to where Ant-Man was when the snap happened, I know the quantum realm had no effect on whether he was snapped or not but as we know, the snap is what got him stuck there, and the chances of the snap happening in the 10 seconds that Scott’s in the quantum realm is unbelievable."
Further, he mentions the moment when the master of the Mystic arts hands over the Time Stone to Ant-Man. "When you think about it from strange’s perspective this means he has no idea why they win in one of the 14 million futures, but he knows in the future where they win he gives away the time stone and having tested 14 million futures where he did and didn’t do that, he also knew he had to give it away at a certain time. This means strange gave away the time stone at the perfect moment that would make the snap happen while Scott was in the quantum realm," he added.
Meanwhile, at the end of Infinity War, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk and War Machine were among the few Avengers who survived Thanos’ snap. While Black Panther, Spider Man, Nick Fury, Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch were among others who disintegrated into dust.
Will Doctor Strange's hint help the Avengers defeat Thanos? We'll find out in Avengers: Endgame, the last film of Avengers Universe that will hit the screens in April 2019.
