Criminal Lawyer Ashok Saraogi has given the outline to a film inspired from the life and mysterious death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Titled Nyay: The Justice the film produced by Saraogi’s wife Sarla. The noted lawyer who is also the legal advisor on the project hopes to reignite the justice for Sushant campaign by providing fresh clues to investigative agencies’ stagnant probe through his film. “Since I was involved in this case, I was representing one of the person (SSR’s ex manager Shruti Modi) in this matter definitely I know the internal things, I know how the investigation is being done – so I had to take the lead and I asked my wife to produce this film ….Fans will get an idea of what really happened or what could have happened . Not only fans, investigative agencies will also get some clue and fans should be happy that on the basis of that clue the investigative agency should be in a position to proceed further. So it’s like pushing the investigative agencies to move further on the basis of the hints given by us.”

CBI that’s probing the suicide angle in SSR case has maintained that it’s still probing the case but with no new update from the agency fans have almost given up hope, however, Saraogi, a seasoned criminal lawyer, believes the so called delay could also be a part of investigation “Particularly about the CBI – it’s a cool agency, they will never complete the investigation like the police or other agencies. They purposely delay the investigation sometime so as to make the criminal feel there is nothing against them and make a mistake that gives them a clue . This is the pattern of working of CBI. So at this point the CBI may not be harsh on some persons so that they get solid evidence with which they can be prosecuted further.”

Saraogi approached the CBI when the SSR probe was at its peak and informed them about the existing drug menace in the film industry, the lawyer who claims to have helped the CBI in getting the NCB to probe the drug angle also had much to say about the recent progress made by NCB by filing a 12000 page chargesheet with Rhea Chakraborty and 32 accused named in it “If charge sheet if filed then definitely they have some material to show otherwise they would have filed a summary report saying nothing is found. Rhea’s case if different and others is different, it’s too early to comment on this… Ncb can either segregate or file more chargesheet based on their investigation – so it’s too early to comment at this stage. …. I have seen Senior Advocate Maneshinde’s ( Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer) statement that chargesheet is filed to cause harassment to Rhea but that’s not the case. I have seen the industry closely for years and I have seen people from trade consuming drugs openly.”

Saraogi’s Nyay promises to explore all angles of the late actors life but sadly the film doesn’t have the blessings of SSR’s family. However, the makers maintain they are not playing with any facts, infact the film is based on information available in public domain. And its based on this submission they got a ruling in their favour in court after a petition was filed alleging the film would hurt sentiments of SSR fans and shows the state government in a bad light.
