Gal Gadot lauded Ryan Reynolds after he posted video of his colonoscopy to raise cancer awareness.

Ryan Reynolds posted a video of his colonoscopy to raise awareness regarding the Cancer screening procedure. Gal Gadot turned cheerleader for her friend.

Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds turned his medical scare into an educational topic. The Deadpool actor recently underwent a colonoscopy and learned that he had a polyp on his colon. Ryan filmed the entire process to spread awareness regarding the cancer screening procedure. The 45-year-old actor shared the video on Instagram. The actor and his Wrexham soccer club co-chairman, Rob McElhenney decided to partner up with Lead From Behind, a colon cancer awareness organisation. Wonder Woman 1948 star Gal Gadot was among the firsts to cheer for Ryan Reynolds and dropped a heart emoticon in the comments section.

In the video, both of them revealed that the actor lost the bet and he would broadcast the process online. He also mentioned that normally he would never have any medical procedure captured on camera and but also he won’t get a chance to raise awareness about something that will save lives every day. “That’s enough motivation for me to let you in on a camera being shoved up my a**,” he added.

Ryan noted that the procedure and prep were painless but the discomfort of filming and sharing the process was the hardest part. Post his surgery, his doctor told Ryan that he did such a good prep that he was able to find an extremely subtle polyp that was on the right side of the actor’s colon. “This was potentially life-saving for you. I’m not kidding. I’m not being overly dramatic,” the doctor added. The health expert also mentioned that Ryan did not have any symptoms.

He also thanked his doctor for pushing him to do the procedure.

As for McElhenney, his doctor shared that they found three polyps that ‘were not a big deal.’ The doctor also added, “Certainly a good thing that we found them early and removed them.”

The caption of the video read: “I made a bet with Rob McElhenney. I lost. But it still paid off. Thank you to Lead From Behind, Jon LaPook and NYU Langone Health.”

As soon as the video was uploaded, actor Gal Gadot commented, “Amazing Ryan." Alex Mallari Jr wrote, “Up yours, Ryan… up yours. I hope everyone subscribes to your OnlyFans to see the full video.”
