Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, who are collaborating for the first time in Zoya Akhtar's musical drama Gully Boy, shared a new poster from the film on Wednesday. In the first look poster, Ranveer and Alia can be seen seated next to each other while they share the same earphone to listen to music. Both the actors are donning de-glam look. The tagline of the poster read: "Apna Time Ayega".
Backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, Gully Boy celebrates the struggles of street rappers from Mumbai and is said to be loosely inspired by the life of rapper Divine.

Earlier, on Tuesday, Ranveer and Alia shared the first poster of the movie which had the Simmba star’s back facing the camera. “Apna Time Aayega! #GullyBoy #14thFeb #2019,” Ranveer captioned the poster.
Talking about his upcoming films in detail, Ranveer told IANS, "I have just completed shooting of 'Gully Boy'. It is a very special story, one that I am closely attached to. It is set against the backdrop of flourishing desi hip hop scene coming out of Bombay (Mumbai)."
"It is the story which represents Mumbai in its true sense and the city is my home town, these are my people, this is my language so this is the story I am really attached to. It's an underdog story about a kid who broke through from great adversity in life to make it as a recording artist," he added.
Gully Boy also features Kalki Koechlin, Akanksha Puri, Vijay Varma and Ali Asghar.
