The 18th International Indian Film Academy Awards' (IIFA) main event has kicked off in New York. The who's who of Bollywood including actors, singers, designers and several other celebrities have turned up in the best of creations, putting their best fashion foot forward. IIFA, which happens to be one of the biggest award nights in the Indian film industry, sees the biggies under the same roof cheering and applauding for each other.

It's the first time that IIFA has been organised in New York at the MetLife Stadium. Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan, who're now veterans when it comes to hosting Bollywood award shows, will enthrall the audience this time too. Here are quick updates from the winners' gallery at IIFA 2017.

Ram Madhvani's Neerja wins the Best Film award.

Alia Bhatt's debut at IIFA and she makes it big! The actress, who had two nominations in the Best Actress category, takes the award home for her spectacular performance in Udta Punjab. Shahid Kapoor bags the Best Actor for Udta Punjab too.

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury bags the award for Best Director for his path-breaking film Pink and dedicates the award to the entire cast and crew.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher takes home the award for Best Supporting Actor (Male) for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Shabana Azmi leads the women pack with her performance in Neerja.

Music maestro AR Rahman honoured for his 25 years of musical contribution.

Disha Patani, Diljit Dosanjh win Best Debutants for MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Udta Punjab.

Katrina Kaif grooved to her popular tracks including Kaala Chashma and Kamli Kamli.

Kanika Kapoor, Tulsi Kumar take home the Awards for Best Female Playback Singer for Udta Punjab and Airlift.

Jim Sarbh bags the award for Best Performance in a negative role for Neerja while Varun Dhawan takes home the award for Best Actor in a comic role.

The ever-stylish Alia Bhatt wins Myntra Style Icon Award.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil wins big in the music category - Best Music Direction, Best Lyrics, Best Playback Singer (male).

Taapsee Pannu wins Woman Of The Year award.
