Kapil has been pretty much active on social media platforms. He often interacts with and replies to his dedicated fans and even to trolls, keeping it raw and real. Now, the comedian took to the microblogging site to assure a fan that he would meet him and wished him a speedy recovery.

A crowdfunding platform shared the pictures of a 19-year-old boy who is battling chronic kidney disease. It quoted his mother saying that he wishes to recover soon and meet the comedian. Kapil replied to this tweet, wishing him a speedy recovery. He also stated that he will meet the fan once he recovers from his injury.

For the unversed, Kapil was captured on a wheelchair at the Mumbai airport by paparazzi. He also had a war of words with them when they tried to click him. The fans started wishing him a speedy recovery, wondering as to what happened to the actor. Later, the TV star clarified that he suffered a back injury in a gym and will be fine in a few days.

On the work front, he is all set to make his digital debut on Netflix. He was a part of the OTT platform’s ‘new menu’ announcement where several fresh projects were announced. Pinkvilla reported a source adding to the development, “Kapil has already begun working on his material for the show, and is doing regular reading sessions with his team. He is currently recovering from his back injury, and will be travelling to Dubai next month to shoot for the special which will feature his trademark comedy style.” In the meantime, The Kapil Sharma Show will pause airing for a while.
