Following weeks of speculation and rumours about the reconciliation between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, the stars will now been in the same show. No, it isn’t The Kapil Sharma Show. As the reports suggest, the comedy stars will now be seen in Sony’s new show Sabse Bada Kalakar. While there is still no confirmation for Asgar and Grover to be back on the popular The Kapil Sharma Show, the viewers will at least be delighted to see their favourite stars share the same platform.
For those who aren’t aware of what had happened between Grover and Sharma, here’s a quick lowdown. Both Grover and Sharma had a mid-air fight a few weeks back where Sharma had also physically assaulted him. Even though Sharma took to Facebook to explain that he had raised his voice on Grover for the first time in five years, the latter refused to accept his apology. Grover was quick to take to Twitter to tell the popular comedian to not act like 'god' and treat people, who aren’t as successful as him, with respect.
Even though Sharma had publically apologized, Grover and other actors of The Kapil Sharma Show showed no interest getting back to the show. Post their exit, Sharma has been facing troubles in sustaining the expected TRPs. As reports suggest, the show’s TRPs fell following Sunil’s exit.
Amidst the ongoing Grover-Sharma controversy, it is interesting to see how the actors gathered for another show.
Going by the videos that have been shared on social media, Grover will play his popular character Dr Mashoor Gulati and Anil as his nurse Laila in an episode for Sabse Bada Kalakar. While Asgar and Grover shot their episode on Tuesday night, actor Boman Irani posted a photo with Sharma later.
In a video that has been shared by Sony Television’s Facebook page, Grover as Dr Mashoor Gulati begins the video by saying, “Mereko aake badi khushi ho rahi hai Sabse Bada Kalakar mei,” he says and later introduced Asgar as nurse Laila. As mentioned by Dr Gulati himself, you can watch your favourite stars on Sabse Bada Kalakar on May 7. “Yeh jo episode hum shoot kar rahe hain aaj woh thoda lafde waala kaam hai. Shooting aaj ho rahi hai lekin ayega May 7 ko,” Grover explains.
Sunil recently made headlines for posting a cryptic message on social media.
Grover posted a message on his Instagram account, which read, “No caption for this picture this time. Take out the meaning you want.”
Earlier, Grover took a jab at Sharma and the much talked about shoe-hurling episode when he shared a picture of himself on Instagram wherein his shoe faced the camera.
