It will be interesting to see who would play the role of Manav and Archana, one of the most loved on-screen couples, which was earlier played by late Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande.

Popular television serial Pavitra Rishta that launched late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande’s career in the acting industry, might soon be making a comeback with a second season.

The report comes as several other television serials like Qubool Hai, Jamai Raja are coming up with their second season on Zee entertainment’s OTT platform,ZEE5. According to a report by Tellychakkar, Pavitra Rishta’s second season will most likely make its return with a new season on ZEE’s OTT platform, ZEE5 and Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform, ALTBalaji. The report further mentioned that ZEE and Balaji Telefilms are keen to bring the show back with a new star cast. However, the talks are at its nascent stages for now.

It will be interesting to see who would play the role of Manav and Archana, one of the most loved on-screen couples, which was earlier played by Sushant and Ankita. Pavitra Rishta aired on Zee television channel from 2009 to 2014 and went on to become one of the most popular shows back in its time. Sushant had left the show in 2011 to pursue his career in Bollywood. He made his debut in the Hindi film industry in 2013 with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. Based on Chetan Bhagat’s The Three Mistakes of My Life, the movie starred Amit Sadhand Rajkummar Rao along with Sushantas three friends who find themselves in the middle of a political and religious turmoil in Gujarat. Sushant died by suicide on June 14, 2020 in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, leaving many fans and fellow actors in the Bollywood and industryshocked.
