Malaika Arora is super excited for her boyfriend Arjun Kapoor's upcoming movie 'Sardar Ka Grandson' as she shared the film's new still on her Instagram story.

Arjun Kapoor on Wednesday announced that his movie ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ will be released on Netflix soon. The actor also shared a new still from the movie, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh of De De Pyaar De fame. Sharing the still, Arjun wrote, “Really excited to share this warm family entertainer with you all! ‘Ab home coming nahi, home is coming soon on Netflix.” Arjun’s ladylove Malaika Arora also shared the still on her Instagram story and gave a shout-out to Arjun and Rakul Preet by adding a bhangra GIF to the story.

The film has been directed by Kaashvie Nair and written by Anuja Chauhan. Sardar Ka Grandson also stars Neena Gupta, who will play Sardar, Arjun Kapoor’s character’s grandmother. It has been produced by John Abraham under his company John Abraham Entertainment, along with Emmay Entertainment and T-Series.

In a statement, Nina Gupta said, “This is a heartwarming story filled with lots of emotions and laughter. It’s the perfect family watch as you embark on a journey with my grandson as he fights all odds to fulfill my last wish. This is the first time I am playing a character like this one and I am excited to see how the audience reacts to it!”

Arjun Kapoor also expressed his happiness about working with a talented ensemble cast. “Working alongside such a talented ensemble cast was an enriching experience for me. We are hoping that the story will resonate with people across the globe with the raw & real emotions that it shows through a loving grandmother-son relationship,” the statement read.
