Ocean's 8 Teaser Trailer Gives a Quick Look Into What to Expect From the Much-Anticipated Reboot

A sequel to Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's trilogy, after getting out of jail, Debbie recruits seven women -- Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, and Helena Bonham Carter -- to help her pull off a jewellery heist at the annual Met Gala in New York.

After a brilliant poster, the makers of Ocean's 8 have revealed the teaser-trailer of the much anticipated all-female heist film. In the 15-seconds footage, Cate Blanchett’s Lou asks that encompassing question of Sandra Bullock's Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of George Clooney's Danny from the previous Ocean's films.

And the answer to Blanchett’s question might be found in this new footage, which appears to tease the death of a major character in the Ocean’s franchise. Debbie is seen standing in front of a grave for Danny where it is revealed that he died in 2018.

Directed by Gary Ross the film is scheduled for a Summer 2018 release.
