Veteran actor and an active Twitter user, Rishi Kapoor has slammed young Bollywood actors for not turning up at the funeral of late Vinod Khanna. The actor criticised the young Bollywood brigade on Twitter. Disappointed and angry with the behavior, Kapoor tweeted, "Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect."

The actor went on to say that he is prepared for this rude treatment himself as no one will come to shoulder him on his death.

Actor's son and one of the most prominent young Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was also not spotted the funeral. Clarifying his son's absence, a disheartened Kapoor wrote, "Yes it has been expressed earlier on social media my wife and Ranbir are out of the country. Would never have been reason not to be there"

The actor expressed his anger over the fact that they (young actors) had all the time in the world to attend Priyanka Chopra's homecoming party the other night but didn't care to join the seniors in this grieving moment.

Veteran actor Vinod Khanna passed away at the age of 70 on Thursday after a difficult battle with cancer.
