Bollywood actor Ananya Panday was in for a nostalgic surprise from a fan on Twitter. A die-hard fan of her father and actor Chunky Panday named Aditi Ray posted on Twitter. The tweet shared a pre-internet version of how stars expressed their love for their fans when social media did not exist. In the tweet, Aditi shared how Chunky had sent her his autographed picture along with a typed letter.
The letter had a personalised message for Aditi from Chunky that read, “Thanks for the letter appreciating my acting. My forthcoming films are, Zakham, Zahreelay, Tadap, Ghar-ka-Chirag, Insaniyat and more.” The letter came with Chunky’s snap that captured the actor’s blooming youth at the time. Aditi had pasted the letter and the picture in a scrap book and posted the picture on Twitter where she tagged Ananya Panday and Chunky Panday. Aditi asked Ananya to check out the tweet and mentioned how big a fan she was of her father.
The tweet certainly caught Ananya’s attention, who quote tweeted Aditi and wrote that it was lovely. The 22-year-old actress further mentioned that she will soon be showing this to her father right away, in case he had missed it.
The tweet certainly took fans to the good old days and one fan even pointed out how one of the mentioned forthcoming films Insaniyat was released the same day in the year 1994. While another user commented that Chunky is indeed handsome and used to be even more in earlier days.
Meanwhile, Ananya is preparing for her upcoming multilingual movie Liger, in which she will be starring opposite Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda. Co-Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Liger will be released on September 9, 2021 in five languages: Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
