As compared to star's previous Eid releases, the film has the dullest collections.

Salman Khan's latest Eid release, Tubelight, has crossed the coveted mark of Rs 100 crore in its first week, but as compared to actor's previous releases, this one has the dullest shine. The Kabir Khan directorial has minted Rs 106.86 crore, lowest since 2011's Bodyguard.

Film analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the first-week collection of the film.

The film which opened with dim earnings of over Rs 21 crore on day 1, was expected to cash in on the Eid festivities like Salman's previous ventures. However, the film was panned by critis all over and this affected the business of the film at large.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight is an official remake of Hollywood project Little Boy. The film also features Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu and late actor Om Puri in key roles.

Going by Taran's tweet, the film has the lowest Week 1 collection.

Sultan- Rs 229.16 Cr

Salman's biggest hit and one of the most successful films of 2016, Sultan featured Salman as a wrestler him as 'Sultan Ali Khan'. He plays his age in the film and dons the role of a guy who is smitten by a more successful female wrestler (Anushka Sharma) and does whatever it takes to win her love. The perfect fusion of a fantastic lover, a caring husband, an aspiring sportsman is something we didn't see the actor pulling off in a long time.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan- Rs 184.62 Cr

'Bajrangi' came as the innocent Hanuman devotee in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, who won sympathy from the audience for his childlike innocence. This was Salman's first step towards shedding his Dabangg avatar and a simple story backed his performance. Loved by the critics and audience alike, the film was one the highest grosser of 2015.

Kick- Rs 164.09 Cr

Salman's appearance as 'Devi Lal Singh' aka 'DEVIL' filled the viewers with much interest and surprise. With Salman's energy and positivity, Kick became a successful hit. Again an Eid release, the film had the perfect dose of Salman's patent swag, and thus despite negative reviews, the film was showered with his fans' love and of course, money.

Ek Tha Tiger- Rs 154.21 Cr

The first collaboration between Salman and Kabir Khan turned out to be a benchmark in Indian box-office. Salman as RAW agent Tiger found a story to his style. Its ear-soothing music, good storyline and 'Tiger's magic made it a hit, giving Salman's fans yet another piece of the pie to relish on.
