Bollywood music composer duo Sajid-Wajid have opened a music school 'Taaleem Studio' to provide specialised training to young singers and musicians.

Mumbai: Bollywood music composer duo Sajid-Wajid have opened a music school 'Taaleem Studio' to provide specialised training to young singers and musicians.

"Our initiative is aimed at mentoring budding singers, as there are some techniques and specialised knowledge that students of music won't easily have access to. There are not adequate platforms that provide the kind of grooming we plan to give our students," the duo said in a statement.

"We plan to leverage our experience from the industry and add value to their journey from (being) students of music to well-rounded music professionals," they said.

Top eight contestants of the current season of singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa', in which Sajid-Wajid are mentors, will make the first batch of the music school.

Singers like Shaan, Babul Supriyo, Mamta Sharma and Javed Ali will be paying tributes to the 'Dabangg' music composers, who have completed 20 years in the Hindi film industry, on the popular show tonight.
