2008 Olympic bronze medalist boxer Vijender Singh seems to have made up his mind about hanging up his India gloves in order to make a lucrative career in professional boxing.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Vijender will be joining the stable of British promoter Francis Warren, which may break a few hearts in the country.
The report goes on to state that Vijender has been seen spending time in London where he is warming his hands to train for the upcoming major international events.
Warren is supposed to call a press conference on Monday and make a formal announcement on the recent developments on Vijender turning pro.
Warren’s media team manager Richard Maynard has also answered in the affirmative on Vijender's future and the 29-year-old Indian boxer has cleared most doubts by posting a picture on twitter.
