Sourav Kothari enters final, Pankaj Advani bows out at billiards Nationals

Sourav, who won the National Championship in 2014, outplayed Dhvaj Haria 4-1 in the semi-final. Advani, though, had an off day when he was done in by Parekh in quarter-finals.

Indore: Kolkata cueist Sourav Kothari entered the Billiards Nationals final even as multiple world champion Pankaj Advani bowed out in the quarter-finals in Indore on Friday.

Sourav, who won the National Championship in 2014, outplayed Dhvaj Haria 4-1 in the semi-final to set up a clash with Siddhartha Parekh, who beat B Bhaskar 4-0 in the last-four encounter, in the title clash.

Advani though had an off day when he was done in by Parekh in the quarter-finals battle. Parekh will play his first billiards national final on Saturday.
