Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday chaired a meeting of Mopa Airport Development Authority (MADA) to review the project work, his office said.

The greenfield airport project is taking shape at Mopa village in North Goa. The first phase of the project is expected to be commissioned in 2020. Parrikar is the Chairman of MADA.

"The CM conducted an extensive project review of various aspects of the development of the airport.
