89. Bijapur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Bastar (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bijapur falls in Bijapur district and South region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 1,60,826 voters in the seat, which includes 77,328 male voters, and 83,489 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Bijapur recorded a voter turnout of 48.49%. In 2013 the turnout was 44.96%, and in 2008 it was 29.17%.
