BJP parliamentary board to decide on post-poll move, says Parrikar
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said that people trusted BJP for its "good governance" and as a party above petty politics based on caste and religion.

Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday said a decision about a post-poll alliance has to be taken by the BJP parliamentary board, though "natural allies always exist".

"The central parliamentary board will take the decision about an alliance in Maharashtra. It is for them to decide and they will shortly announce the decision, but natural allies always exist," Parrikar said, reacting to a question whether the BJP would go with its former allies in neighbouring Maharashtra.

When asked whether his term "natural allies" meant the Shiv Sena, Parikkar replied in the affirmative. Parrikar said that results in Haryana and Maharashtra clearly indicated that BJP has emerged as the principal party in the country and also that people have accepted it as the "main ruling party".

The Goa chief minister said that people trusted BJP for its "good governance" and as a party above petty politics based on caste and religion. Parrikar said that the polls results are an endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance during the last five months.
