Champhai South is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Champhai South falls in Champhai district and North region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a urban seat.

There are a total of 18,024 voters in the seat, which includes 8,671 male voters, and 9,353 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Champhai South recorded a voter turnout of 78.11%. In 2013 the turnout was 80.36%, and in 2008 it was 80.2%.
