72. Deotalab is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Rewa Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Deotalab falls in Rewa district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,17,160 voters in the seat, which includes 1,15,666 male voters, and 1,01,490 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Deotalab recorded a voter turnout of 62.23%. In 2013 the turnout was 61.71%, and in 2008 it was 56.99%.
