Dressed as Arjun, Tej Pratap Launches Teaser of Mahabharata Against Brother Tejashwi
The video has raised a few eyebrows as recently the RLD leader had declared that he was ready to hand over the reins of 'Hastinapur' to 'Arjun' (Tejashwi) and move to 'Dwarka'.

Lalu Prasad's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav, who recently returned to Bihar after a sojourn to pilgrimage towns, has stepped out with a renewed energy. The 'rejuvenated avatar' of former health minister is no longer in a mood to hand over the reins of political dynasty to younger brother Tejashwi, and Twitter is a proof to the war cry.
The RLD leader posted a small clip of his Dharm Nirpeksha Sevak Sangh (DSS), a youth organisation formed last year reportedly to counter the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological parent of the BJP. The video shows him standing on a chariot as Arjuna with Lord Krishna holding the reins of the vehicle during battle of Kurukshetra as depicted in Mahabharata.
The video has raised a few eyebrows as recently the RLD leader had declared on Twitter that he was ready to hand over the reins of 'Hastinapur' to 'Arjun' (read Tejashwi) and move to 'Dwarka'. "Mera sochna hai ki main Arjun ko Hastinapur ki gaddi par baithaoon aur khud Dwarka chala jaoon," the tweet read.
।।। राधे राधे।।— Tej Pratap Yadav (@TejYadav14) June 9, 2018
According to reports, the leader had been sulking for being sidelined in the internal affairs of the party and dropped hints of moving to 'Dwarka' for solace. He is apparently unhappy over being overshadowed by his younger brother, who is considered a favourite of their father and has emerged as the RJD's de facto leader in the absence of Lalu Prasad, who is serving sentences in fodder scam cases.
Senior Yadav's divorce plea after just six months of marriage also became the talk of the town, following which he ditched Deepawali and Chhath celebrations at home, and roamed around in pilgrimage towns like Vindhyachal, Varanasi, Vrindavan and Haridwar. But weeks ago, he returned to the state with his trademark 'bhasma tilak' and announced a comeback to politics.
"I have returned to Bihar after receiving the blessings of Lord Krishna during my pilgrimage. The state will emerge as Kurukshetra in the Lok Sabha polls and our detractors will be slayed with the Sudarshan Chakra of popular vote," he said.
The video, thus, is being seen as a trailer to his declaration and an assertion of his position in the party and state politics through DSS.
The leader is also set to hold janta durbar at RJD office on Monday between 10 am and 2 pm.
