14. Gwalior Rural is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Gwalior Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Gwalior Rural falls in Gwalior district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,24,835 voters in the seat, which includes 1,24,739 male voters, and 1,00,092 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Gwalior Rural recorded a voter turnout of 68.99%. In 2013 the turnout was 62.03%, and in 2008 it was 59.87%.

BSP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,777 votes (10.86%), registering 32.9% of the total votes polled.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, INC led in the Gwalior Rural Assembly segment of the Gwalior Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
