Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has moved into his new residence after the BJP's defeat in the Assembly elections. He tweeted that the current house is smaller but his heart continues be as large as always.

Despite his party's poor peformance in the polls, Chouhan continues to be a popular figure in the state with crowds welcoming him in droves during public appearances.

Chouhan was praised for being a sport after he was photographed hand-in-hand with his successor Kamal Nath and Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia during the swearing-in ceremony of the CM.

The former CM, who was in his constituency Budhni on Wednesday, took a cue from Salman Khan starrer Bollywood movie 'Tiger Zinda Hai' to emphasise that he was with the people and was working for them.

"No one needs to worry that what will happen to them. I am still here. Tiger abhi zinda hai (the tiger is alive)," he said.

Chouhan is known for his witty remarks, innuendoes and use of rhyming one-liners to target his political rivals. Recently, during a poll campaign in MP, the former CM slammed Congress president Rahul Gandhi by referring to a Bollywood song, "Tum to thehre pardesi saath kya nibhaoge."
