222. Jaora (जावरा) constituency (Vidhan Sabha seat) in the Madhya Pradesh state Assembly elections 2018. Check who won and who lost and who will be the new Jaora MLA.

222. Jaora is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Mandsour Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Jaora falls in Ratlam district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorized as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,09,925 voters in the seat, which includes 1,07,865 male voters, and 1,02,056 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Jaora recorded a voter turnout of 83.4%. In 2013 the turnout was 80.75%, and in 2008 it was 81.19%.

In 2013, Rajendra Pandey of BJP won the seat by a margin of 29,851 votes (18.85%). Rajendra Pandey secured 56.6% of the total votes polled.

INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 2,459 votes (1.91%), registering 47.72% of the total votes polled.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Jaora Assembly segment of the Mandsour Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
