193. Jhabua is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Ratlam (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Jhabua falls in Jhabua district and Malwa Tribal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,70,283 voters in the seat, which includes 1,36,046 male voters, and 1,34,231 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Jhabua recorded a voter turnout of 64.55%. In 2013 the turnout was 56.55%, and in 2008 it was 54.26%.
In 2013, Shantilal Bilwal of BJP won the seat by a margin of 15,858 votes (11.71%). Shantilal Bilwal secured 41.79% of the total votes polled.
