New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party hit out at the Congress and said the United Progressive Alliance is on the verge of breakup. The BJP held its Parliamentary Board meeting on Monday in New Delhi as the party gears for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

The meeting was to plan the party's official stand on the Food Security ordinance. "Even on food security, it had to bring in ordinance as they have doubts about the support of their own allies," the BJP said.

The party said five states will go to election is November and the "Congress is under pressure and can not face Parliament". In such a situation, the BJP will be aggressive and will force them for a Parliament debate on corruption and price rise.
