Bengaluru: Giving more ammunition to the ruling Congress party, a senior Karnataka BJP leader was caught in a video, asking party workers not to refrain from “lying if you have to”.
The video footage shows KS Eshwarappa, who is also the opposition leader in Karnataka Legislative Council saying the BJP workers must never “admit that you don’t know” but lie if required.
The senior leader was speaking at a party meet in Koppal in north Karnataka.
Not just that, Eshwarappa went with his instructive talk to fellow party workers: "Did you know that Pakistanis hacked Indian soldiers to death during the reign of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. But have you seen it? Faced with such questions, you can say that Pakistan never dared raise its head during the Vajpayee period.”
Coming back to Manmohan Singh and how he dealt with Pakistan in his time, which has become a hot topic in the recent times, he said, “During Manmohan Singh's regime, Pakistani soldiers attacked and butchered Indian soldiers. When it comes to Narendra Modi, tell that the Pakistanis are never spared. Ten people were killed and that Narendra Modi is a strong man. What's wrong in saying that?”
The former deputy chief minister added, “There may not be much that you know, just use Narendra Modi's name. The entire world accedes to the fact that Modi is a strong man, so what's the harm in hyping it?"
