Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath further said that 'hooligan tax' is not collected in UP, and there is no place for criminals in the state.

Confident of winning assembly elections again in 2022, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath revealed at a News18 event that he has already prepared roadmap for the next five years and claimed that people have appreciated the style of function of BJP government.

“Our government has provided four lakh jobs in the last four years. The per capita income of the state has also doubled. We have encouraged investment in Uttar Pradesh by projecting it as the best place to put in money,” CM Yogi said at Rising Uttar Pradesh 2021.

On his ambitious UP Film City project, the chief minister said, ” We are not threatening anyone. Whatever has to be done, will be done under a policy. Maharashtra government has failed to provide security. No underworld can be active in Uttar Pradesh, everyone knows where we will take the criminals. The proposed film city will be the best in the country and will be made through PPP made. I held the bull by horns at Mumbai stock exchange to indicate that we will take higher the economy of UP.” He further said that “hooligan tax” is not collected in UP, and there is no place for criminals in the state.

The UP CM also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, frontline workers and scientists for making India able to fight the deadly coronavirus. “I want to thank PM Modi, our frontline workers, our scientists who have made it possible for us to fight the coronavirus. When other states appreciate UP, we feel good but at the same time we don’t want to sound arrogant,” CM Yogi said.

Reacting to the statements made by SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, the chief minister said, “Akhilesh ji is living in the past, we are living in present. Today, UP is emerging as one of the biggest economies in the state. Those who just believe in announcements, don’t want to believe the figures and data.”

“The quality of our expressway can be ascertained by the fact the international level third party agencies are involved in this. The cost of the expressway has come down and also now it is 10 meter wide from what it was proposed earlier,” replied CM Yogi Adityanath on the allegations made by SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav.

On the issue of whom he thinks is the main contender in upcoming UP Assembly elections in 2022 including Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi and Owaisi, CM Yogi said, “Everyone has right to contest elections, people have already given their reply many times. How can you term anyone my contender? They don’t have any vision for the state. These faces were not there with the people during the Corona period. SP, Congress etc. could have done some work for people. Akhilesh had put himself in quarantine during the Covid, he should do it for the betterment of the people.”

“The Modi government has worked a lot to relieve people from inflation. He is trying to raise issues which don’t affect the common man. But I want to ask Akhilesh and other leaders where they were during the corona period. A person (Congress) goes to Temple and God when he has lost his hopes. The governments which they (Congress) had are going, making government in UP is a dream for them.”

Giving his reaction on AIMIM Chief Asadudding Owaisi and PSPL Chief Shivpal Yadav’s alliance, CM Yogi said, “Owiais ji is mahaan aatma and such people get activated during elections. Similarly just like brands of Samajwadi there is a brand Pragatisheel Samajwad which Shivpal owns and he will go to public, now it’s up to people whom they chose.”
