New Delhi: After a gap of almost four years, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal returned to Jantar Mantar to support his 'guru' and anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare. Kejriwal on Tuesday joined Hazare's agitation against the changes introduced in Land Acquisition Bill.

It was Kejriwal's first protest after becoming Delhi's Chief Minister for the second time. On Tuesday, Kejriwal accompanied by his party leader Yogendra Yadav, participated in the protest at Jantar Mantar and shared the dais with Hazare.

The Chief Minister reminded Bharatiya Janata Party of the drubbing it received at the hands of his party in Delhi Assembly elections. Kejriwal said people will not forgive a party that makes anti-farmer policies.

Kejriwal, who was Anna's lieutenant in the anti-corruption movement four years ago, said he considers Hazare as his 'guru' and will support him in his protest. "As a Delhi CM I give my full support to Annaji and his supporters. The Delhi government will try its best to help farmers in their struggle," he said.

He promised his supporters that he would ensure no land is acquired in Delhi. He also requested Hazare to visit Delhi Secretariat for 10 minutes and give his blessings to all department heads.

Hazare had earlier said that he will not allow any political party, including AAP members, to share the dais. However, several other political leaders like CPI's Atul Anjan and MDMK's V Gopalsamy aka Vaiko also shared the dais with Hazare.
