Football Transfer News September 23: Mohammedan SC are rumoured to be signing Cavin Lobo from Punjab FC. Kerala Blasters have announced the signing of defensive midfielder Vicente Gomez from Deportivo de La Coruna. FC Goa gave a two-year contract extension to local boy Mohamed Ali. Juventus have signed Alvaro Morata on a one-year loan for 10 million euros with also an option to buy him at the end of the season for 45 million euros to be paid over three years. Barcelona's Nelson Semedo, on the other hand, has moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers for which the Premier League club has paid 35 million euros to the Catalan club.

Lobo is a well-known professional in the Indian football circuit, best known for his stint with East Bengal from 2012-18, where he made 120 appearances and scored 17 goals.

There are two players who Kerala Blasters are rumoured to be in talks with. One is Zimbabwe's centre back Costa Nhamoinesu, who reports suggest is all set to sign for the Kochi-based club. The other is defensive midfielder Vicente Gomez who is currently with Deportivo de La Coruna. According to Transfermarkt, Gomez could join KBFC on a three-year deal.

In the Indian football transfer window, ATK Mohun Bagan, FC Goa and Odisha FC have been the most active ones while Jamshedpur FC, Chennaiyin FC and Hyderabad FC have had coach changes lately as well. While FC Goa appointed Juan Ferrando as their coach early on and hit the market, Chennaiyin and Hyderabad FC have only just found their coaches. Hyderabad, who had Albert Roca as their coach, had to be changed after the Spaniard got an offer from FC Barcelona and moved on. In the European football market, Chelsea have been on a spending spree buying extremely talented youngsters to make up a formidable squad.

In Europe, the biggest of the latest transfer deals have been the signing of Kai Havertz by Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen for 71m pounds and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United getting the signature of Donny van de Beek from Ajax Amsterdam. Among the women, Pernille Harder became the most expensive female footballer in the world when she signed with Chelsea.
