The Latest: Wimbledon Champ Halep Tests Positive For Virus

Illinois is playing Purdue without starting quarterback Brandon Peters and tight end Griffin Moore.
Illinois also announced that contact tracing sidelined several other players for the Purdue game and next weeks game against Minnesota.
Sophomore Matt Robinson started at quarterback for the Ilini. He played in eight games last year and started two.
The 29-year-old Romanian player said on Twitter that she is self-isolating at home and recovering well from mild symptoms.
She added, I feel good… we will get through this together.
Halep is ranked No. 2 in the world. She won Wimbledon in 2019 and the French Open in 2018. Wimbledon was cancelled this year because of the pandemic.
